What Is Neurological Integrative Systems (NIS)?

Neurological Integrative Systems (NIS) is a non-invasive, assessment-based approach developed by Dr. Allan Phillips. NIS evaluates neurological communication pathways within the body to identify areas where signaling may be disrupted. When the brain is no longer able to maintain optimal communication with a particular system or function, symptoms can develop over time. Through a structured assessment and gentle neurological input, NIS sessions aim to restore those communication pathways and support the body's natural regulatory processes.

Non-Invasive

No needles, no adjustments, no medication. Sessions involve light touch neurological assessments.

Assessment-Based

Each session systematically evaluates neurological communication before any input is applied.

Supports Self-Regulation

The goal is to restore the body's own ability to regulate and maintain healthy function.

Caitlin McLaurin | Certified NIS Practitioner

Caitlin McLaurin is a certified Neurological Integrative Systems (NIS) practitioner trained through the Neurolink Institute, founded by Dr. Allan Phillips in New Zealand. Having experienced the benefits of NIS firsthand throughout her own health journey, she was inspired by her mentor and practitioner Dan Lane to pursue formal training and bring this assessment approach to her community. Caitlin's practice focuses on identifying disruptions in neurological communication that may be contributing to a range of health concerns — and supporting the body's ability to self-regulate. She has worked with clients presenting a variety of complex conditions for which conventional medicine provided limited solutions.

Clients often seek NIS support for:

Conditions Commonly Addressed

Chronic Fatigue

This varies depending on your concerns and how your body responds. Many clients begin to notice changes within the first few sessions. Your practitioner will discuss a recommended frequency after your initial assessment.

NIS sessions are typically not covered by health insurance in Minnesota, as it is considered a wellness service rather than a medical treatment. Payment plans and pricing will be provided at the time of booking. We recommend contacting your insurer directly if you have specific coverage questions.
